Nick and Jessica Split

I don't think this has been posted, but as I was investigating the Katie/Tom baby thing (true...unbelieveable though) I came across the news that Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey have decided to divorce. Between this and Demi and Ashton getting married, lots happening in Hollywood in the past week!

Yeah, I just heard it on the news too. Not really surprising to me. They're refusing to confirm this though.

I heard about Tom & Katie just before this as well (on my local news).

They were talking about this as well as Tom & Katies baby on ET. They mentioned how many times this has been reported since they've been married and they also said they just spoke with Jessica a week or so ago and she said they were house hunting.

Wonder if its true or not this time.

I heard on the radio this morning that Jessica Simpson started out as a contempary Christian singer. I had no idea. Does anyone know if this is true?

Jessica Simpson first made her mark in the world of contemporary Christian music. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Jessica was sharing bills with gospel great Kirk Franklin and Ce Ce Winans while still in junior high. Word of the then-teen's phenomenal voice and stage presence soon filtered out of the Christian circuit and, in the late 90's, Jessica signed with Columbia Records. Sweet Kisses, her major label debut, was released in 1999 and spawned the smash singles "I Wanna Love You Forever," "I Think I'm In Love," and "Where You Are." Both of them were on Live w/Regis & Kelly (different days) saying the same thing over & over about them not splitting up, they have been dealing w/this issue for about a year now! Nick says he had to tell everyone in there families not to believe what they hear or read if it's true he'll let them know.

Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey have slammed new rumours claiming they have split.

Following reports in the US media saying their marriage is on the rocks, the 'Newlweds' stars have issued a statement insisting they are still together. .

Jessica's spokesman, Brad Cafarelli, said on the couple's behalf: "Nick and Jessica have not separated. Rumors to the contrary are simply not true".

The couple hit back after America's Us Weekly and Life & Style magazines both ran cover stories claiming they had split up.
According to Us Weekly, the pair - whose last public appearance together was on September 11 - separated two months ago, while Life & Style claims Jessica was spotted on a flight, crying to her personal assistant: "Nick doesn't want me anymore!" .

Earlier this year, Jessica's father, Joe, admitted the couple had considered splitting, says Jessica's father - but insisted they are not divorcing. He said at the time: "Do they fight? Hell yes, they fight. Have there been moments when Nick has wanted to leave Jessica or Jess has wanted to leave Nick? Absolutely!.

"It's the same with me and my wife If fighting is a sign of divorce, then we're all going to get divorced"
