Lori Copeland - the Maverick

This is her third book in the Men of the Saddle series. Lori is another one of my favorite authors. She writes with much humor, something I really enjoy in her books.

Susanne McCord has outthought, outmaneuvered and just plain outfought Cass Claxton every time. Now he's determined to get this spitfire off his hands once and for all. If only she'd stop trying to work her way into his heart.

Although this book does have humor, it also shows how we can really change if we want too. Her compassion for others is what really touches the heart of the man she loves. I loved her spunkiness!!! Great read - 299 pages.

I just finished the first in this series. They are quick reads--not too deep. It was just what I was looking for at the time. I am reading number two right now.
