Well, the woman obviously has serious mental issues. What a horrible way for those poor litle ones to die.

It's very sad
how some people w/more than 1 child treats them this way! (I've heard a few news stories like this in the past years)
She had been staying with her children at a Salvation Army shelter in Oakland, Mary Ann Ramirez, the social services manager of the shelter, told the Chronicle."I just talked to her yesterday," Ramirez said Wednesday. "We had our usual how are you doing, how's the kids. I would never have guessed in a million years that today she would do that."
How could social services not know she has a mental illness, & keep a better eye on her, etc.Her family reportedly said she had a history of mental illness.

So very sad. I cannot imagine the confusion and terror those children felt. Reminds me of Susan Smith.

Would the child you once were be inspired by the adult you've become?

Wow, Sara. Not to get OT, but that first story is just so wrong. The mother thinks those t-shirts (smiley-face Hitler) are funny? Sick.
