Anyone watch it tonight? I bawled the entire time it was on. It was so sad!

If anyone seen it,I missed the first 10 mins or so...how did the dad die?

Keep a look out for the E. M-O. episode for the "Novak Family" in Boardman, Oh.

29 yr old father, raising his 3 children (youngest 5month old). Mother died from anurism (I think)? House torn down and built from scratch. They did it in 5 days.

What station runs E.H.M. ? I don't get regular channels...just dish. Would really like to see this one.

Tammi, we watched it at our oldest dd's place last night. All of us, dh included, had to have Kleenex. It was a pretty incredible show.

I watch the show and it is impossible not to get caught up in the sad stories. However I think the show is sending the wrong message. Our society seems to think that "fame" (no matter how fleeting), money and stuff solve everything. A roof over a families head is one thing, but frankly I think they go way overboard. It will be interesting to follow these families down the road and see what happens. Throwing money and expensive stuff at problems makes the people doing the throwing feel good about themselves, but it's not always what they people needing help really need. Whatever happened to neighbors helping neighbors? Why does a TV show have to get involved?
