Rod Stewart in Emergency Birth Classes

Rod Stewart has been to emergency birth classes - in case pregnant girlfriend Penny Lancaster can't get to hospital in time.
The rocker claims he has learned exactly what to do if model Penny goes into labor unexpectedly.

But he admits he fell asleep in some of the early morning ante-natal classes because he had been up half the night watching his beloved Celtic football team play on TV.

Rod revealed: "I've done my emergency birth classes in Los Angeles. But I would always fall asleep in the morning because I'd had to get up to watch Celtic in the middle of the night."

The singer has also admitted he will be taking time off next year to spend time with Penny and the new baby.

He told Britain's Radio 2: "I'm going to take paternity leave. I'm going to have most of next year off."

I guess DH parents won't see him in concert next year They have been to a few of his concerts last year & this year.
