Did anyone see Trading Spouses Last night?
Um...was it just me or was that woman a little crazy? Religious beliefs aside, even her family was frightened of her outburst! And, what a hypocrite about the money.
If you saw last night, did you see last week where she was chasing those poor children through their yard while gagging at them? Ick!My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

I sure did see both episodes! That woman gave Christians a bad name. She came across as intollerant, judgemental, and overbearing. I felt the most sorry for the daughter, Brooke who was always told what to do and put down. And what was with that gagging? Or her fear of their dryer being somehow unholy? It was strange.

That show was crazy!!!
But what made me saddest, was how the money was divided.
The christan women gave $3000 to each boy, for stuff they wanted, but $1200 to the girl, for how her mom saw fit?!? That wasn't right. They each should of got $3000.
And the other women, Jeanie, gave no money at all to Brooke, but she gave quite a bit to the older daughter. THat made me sad.

Mandi, Yes, she did! She gave $5,000 so that Brooke could continue with her dance lessons. They had mentioned how expensive they were and that she may not be able to continue, so the woman left $5,000 specifically for that purpose. I remember because dh and I were saying how thoughtful that was.Originally posted by MandiDawn

I think the show should have not allowed the crazy lady to receive her $20,000 for the gastric bypass, but divided it up amongst the rest of the family. You said you didn't want it? Fine...you don't get it.My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

I thought she gave that money to Angela (or was it Ashley), the oldest daughter.Originally posted by AmyBoz

Here we go, straight from the Fox "Trading Spouses Website
http://www.fox.com/tradingspouses/recaps/
"Later, we learn what Jeanne had earmarked for the family. Ashley got $5,000 to pay for dance certification, $10,000 to help Ashley and Abigail move to their own place, $15,000 for Barry to spend on the family, and $20,000 for Margaret to get the gastric bypass surgery that she wanted. Upon further review and possibly prayer, Margaret decided to take the money"

Ah...I must have read it wrong. Well, I'm going to assume that Barry would spend some of the $15,000 on Brooke. He seemed pretty level-headed. Why he's married to her? Beats me!

Margaret was the most UN-Christian person I have ever seen. I feel so badly for her family. At least the other family got to get rid of her. Margaret's family has to deal with her 24/7.

One can only hope that Brooke get some of the benefit! I thought she was an awesome dancer and I hope she is able to channel that talent into a scholarship or join a dance company in a few years!Originally posted by AmyBoz

I saw last nights episode. What a fruitcake that woman was. If I were her family I would have been mortified by the way she reacted.

I just thought that it was wrong for the woman to want to kick everyone out of her house for just knowing the "dark side" woman

I thought the woman who was supposed to be the Christian acted more like the devil and the woman who was supposed to be dark-sided acted more like a Christian. I guess it just goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover.
