The series by Liz Curits Higgs that starts with the book Thorn in My Heart. There are 2 books - Thorn, Fair is the Rose & Whence Came a Prince. It is actually the retelling of Jacob & Esau, Leah and Rachel - but set in 1700 Ireland. Very emotional and captivating.

I love the Scarpetta series by Patricia Cornwell. I also love all of Jennifer Weiner's books. But two books that really stick out for me are The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold and The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom.

LOVED "The Five People You Meet In Heaven" as well.

Recently I started the Mitford books by Jan Karon and they are fun, easy to read books.

The Da Vinci Code and Angles & Demons were both awesome....I couldn't put them down. I'll probably re-read Da Vinci Code sometime next year prior to the movie coming out on video/dvd as I doubt I'll go see it in the theater.

    "My Sisters Keeper"
Really makes you think how far would you go to save your sister? Would you give up your life for her to have a chance? I read it straight thru, then went out and bought it to give to my sister. Such a good book.

I like to read anything and everything.... no favorite author impaticular. My all time tear jerker was "The Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks. I read the book straight through and then couldnt finish it because there were so many tears blocking my eyes! I have bookcases full of books. I love to read more than anything.
