Default What are you currently reading

I'm reading COLORADO~ by Rosey Dow. It's four complete stories in one.I'm only in the first story but it is so good if you like this type of a read. It's set back during the 1800's I guess....I dont think the book has actually said what year it was....I need to searched that lol

Heres what the back of the book says...

    **********

"Taming the frontier is a daunting task -- one that can't be burdened by the luxuries of life, including romance. When four settlers take on the challenging Colorado Territory, they are surprised by how love springs up alongside their labors. Steven wanted a wife in name only to make him eligible for his inheritance. The former soldier and gambler is not husband materia. What then is he to do with Megan when he takes her to his new mountain home? Em longs to leave a painful past in the East and work along friends to tame the wilderness. When she meets a former slave who is running from the law, will she have the strength to confront old fears? Lisa is penniless in a strange town and is desperate to return to the mountains. Will she make a bargain with a stranger to get herself home -- even though a faceless enemy pursues him? Banjo thinks having a family is just a long-lost dream. When dubious businessmen threaten a widow, can she and Banjo overcome their independent pride in time to save her ranch? Love may seem like a frivolous addition to the pioneer lifestyle -- but could it really be the key foundation stone upon which to build a new life?"

Currently 'Wealth Without Risk' by Charles Givens. But just finished 'White Hot' by Sandra Brown to round it out. Can't read money books only without some good saucy fiction thrown in there ever so often.

Just started "Wilderness Mother" by Deanna Kawatski. This was a book I ordered used from half.com. A post about the book in the homesteading section guided me to it. It's incredibly interesting so far!

I always have tons of books going. Currently, I'm re-reading Nickel and Dimed for a class, On the Rez by Ian Frazier, and some biographies of St. Joseph and of the parents of St. Therese the Little Flower.
