Whats your Favorite Cookbook
I got The Pioneer Lady's Hearty Winter Cookbook,from ebay

I am loving this cookbook.I dont think I have ever enjoyed looking at a cookbook like I have this one. ( also used her recipe for pancakes...very good) She has several more. I've also bought The Pioneer Lady's Country Kitchen but havent received it yet.
Do you have a favorite?

Fix It and Forget It Lightly (I bought the first one but gave it away.... everything called for lots of cheese and multiple cans of cream soup, and we just don't eat that way!)

Must add the New Laurel's Kitchen -- can't believe I forgot it!
We're not vegetarians, but this cookbook is just so awesome and so well-written I get tons of good, lowfat, healthful recipes from it.

and a community cookbook that is in tatters because I use it so much

all are hardback but in tatters, lol I am rough on cookbooks...~~ Missy ~~

I too, am a fan of community and church cookbooks. My favorite is a cookbook I got from my childhood church thirty years ago. 'The Nine Mile -Gates Chapel United Methodist Church Cookbook"

The Joy of Cooking is my "bible", I love Not Just Beans and Fix it and Forget it.
