It was great seeing the whole "HAPPY DAYS" cast in the 30th Reunion show! Not only did the cast act together, they also played on a softball team together. The audience learns that during the production of Happy Days, creator/executive producer Garry Marshall (he'll be joined by his sister Penny Marshall) organized a softball team for the cast and crew in order to bond and work as a team.Originally posted by momof42003

Old videos were shown of the team playing in Yankee Stadium and against U.S. troops abroad in Germany. Thirty years later, the team rejoined to play one more game, Cunningham Hardware vs. Arnold's Diner.
This reunion show deserves Best of the Week because it brought back the memories of this priceless sitcom that made people laugh and cry for eleven years. They tackled tough topics tactfully and always with the audience in mind. This show created standards for quality television and it is obvious why the Happy Days 30th Anniversary Reunion Show won the highest ratings of the night.

I never knew Ralph was born in my town.
In the end, Morita persevered--and taught others to do the same, in reel life and in real life.
"My life is all the richer for having known him," Macchio said. "I will miss his genuine friendship."
"Forever my Sensei..."
