Must Have book for Frugal Homeowners
I got this book for DH for Christmas last year. I ended up getting one for my Mom too. This book is great - it tells you how to fix almost everything. It also shows you how to finish furniture, recane a chair, repair dishes, toys etc, lay and repair carpet, reweave a braided rug etc.
It is by Reader's Digest:
New Fix-It-Yourself Manual: How to Repair, Clean, and Maintain Anything and Everything in and Around Your Home (Hardcover)
Just wanted to share in case someone is looking for a Christmas book!

these are GREAT!!!!!!!! books. I bought both of them for my Son & DIL recently. They just bought thier 1st house. DIL is expecting thier 2nd child and wants to work part time after the baby is born. They want to do thier own home improvements and
repairs. The books explain things in a way even I can understand lol!
Edited to read: I got the best buy on Amazon.com
