Okay ladies, I'm going to be doing the bookclub. I have 2 books we will be doing. You can do one, two 2 if you so choose. We will have a new selection every 2 months, so our next selection will be March 1st. (If you have a good book you'd like me to do, please pm me and let me know. )

You have until Jan. 15 to get your book/books. On the 16th I will start the questions.

#2 - Homestead by Jane Kirkpatrick (350 pages)

Please post to this thread when you get your books and which ones you'll be taking part in.

I'll be posting questions at different times. We will be doing it over a period of about 5 weeks.

Each thread I start will have something to the effect "don't read if you haven't finished chapter _____". Not sure the exact words yet, however you'll know not to look at that thread unless your that far in the book.

Unfortunately, my library does not carry any of these titles either

I'll look into getting an inexpensive second-hand copy online...

I've got The Sugar Camp Quilt on order at a different library to our local three, someone's got it out at the moment but I'm next in line so hope they hurry up and take it back!

For those of you whose library doesn't own these, ask them for an inter-library loan. That means they can order the book from another library outside your system. Sometimes there is a small fee for this, but not as a rule.
