Do you read aloud to your kids?
Even at my kid's age, they still love me to read aloud to them.

What's your favorite time of the day to read?
After everyone has gone to bed and all is quiet in my home. I love reading late into the night.

Yes, we have a reader here..... At nap and bedtime and sometime in between we read at least ten books sometimes twice. And I enjoy every moment of it!

We certainly do, and DH and I used to read books together, too. We read whenever we get a chance

As a homeschooling parent, I read aloud frequently to my children. Even my older dd-who can read at an 8th grade level-likes being read to.
When reading aloud, I try to go slowly and use a lot of expression. I think I'm pretty good at it, if I do say so myself. I don't really do voices, but if it says: ' "Blah, blah, blah," he chuckled. ' I try to chuckle as I read 'blah, blah, blah.' I use pauses for drama and sometimesIreadshortpartsreallyfastifit'sveryexciting.

I use to read a lot to them when they were younger. Now at 17, 19, and 22 they don't want mom reading to them. The odd time I can sneak in reading a magazine article or a neat poem, but not too often.

I always read to my boys when they were little. Now I read to my Granddaughter who is more interested in the pictures. She is 17 months old and just starting to say words.

Constantly. We read three books at bedtime every night and Julia will often bring us books throughout the day to read. Patrick doesn't really like to sit still to hear a book, although he does like to look at the pictures.

Yes! It's part of our homeschooling day and we all love to read. Ds1 loves to read aloud to us as well.
