What was your favorite fairy tale as a child
I'd have to say Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I loved those little guys and the wonderful portraits of them. It is still one of my all time favorites.

Hmmmm....toss up between Big Hans/ Little Hans and the one about the boy who works as an indentured servant and gets paid, then keeps trading down until he has nothing left but a rock, which he drops in a stream. Can't remember the title.

I know it is not politically correct, and if your not at least 50 years old; you probably never heard of it;but my favorite was "Little black Sambo"
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

Don't think I was ever into fairy tales much but I really came alive when I saw Star Trek on TV for the first time at about age 8. At a neighbors house in the Yukon. They had TV, we didn't, and I was immediately drawn into sci fi.
Those were my fairy tales. Wonder, exploration of planets and star systems, strange new beings with different views of life.
