Yes there were only a few, I can't remember which was first though.

    Old Yeller
    Sound of Music
    Mary Poppins
    and
    Born Free

and I would have to really rack my brain for others. I think that was it for childhood and movies. Mum didn't approve of disney or even of Charleton Heston but Julie Andrews and nature films were fine.

Mine was Bambi at the drive-in. I fell asleep.

My first movie in a theater, was Star Wars with my Dad.

I think it was Pete's Dragon, but it could have been Pinnochio or Winnie the
    Pooh.

It was Bambi for me too Cj. My dad said I cried for hours afterward. He felt so bad....thought it traumatized me when Bambi's mother got killed. I've always been such a sensitive soul......rofl.

The 2nd was Mary Poppins. I LOVED that movie from beginning to end.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

Mary Poppins--- mom let me go to the bathroom by myself, and I came back in the wrong door. The usher found me wandering around and walked me up and down the aisles until my mom recognised me .

I think it was something to do with a cat who went to Heaven, I can't remember the title. It was a Disney flick, I believe.

Bambi. When Bambi was shot my sister who is a 1 1/2 years younger than me cried her eyes out. My mom said I was embarassed because my sister was crying so loud. The next movie I remember was Mary Poppins. Loved that movie. My sister and I bugged my mom and dad to see it again, so we went to the outdoor theater to see it again.
