Speaking of the Soap "Passions"

starting Feb 6th at 9 am (I think) Sci Fi is going to start airing it from the beginning.....I will rewatch some of the story arcs I missed for sure and most likely will watch it every day for the laughs it brings....lol

I am so jealous.

The CRTC which is a regulatory body governing the media in Canada has ruled against Canadian satellite companies carrying the Sci Fi channel as it is in direct competition to SPACE which is our version of it.

But they aren't the same!!!

Sci Fi has the CURRENT season of Star Gate

and now PASSIONS!!!!

I'm so green with envy I'm ready for St Patrick's day no problem!

HMPH it's elections here in Canada.

This could be a major ISSUE for me!!! I must see about letting my member of Parliament know about my feelings.

First StarGate, now Passions!!!!

They are getting in the way of some good TV, and in the case of StarGate, it's filmed here in Canada for pity's sake.

CRTC is more concerned with Canadian content than what the content is.

At christmas and New Years that Spike channel has Bond movies that the CRTC forces Spike to change much to my George's everlasting annoyance.

Down with the CRTC!!!!

HAH if the revolution fails, me and mah posse are moving south to the land of the free and home of good TV with lots of Passions re runs, and fresh stargate!!!!!
