...award shows?

I used to be an award show junkie. I'd settle in for the night with popcorn and just drink them in.

Now, I just don't seem to have the patience for them. The Golden Globes, which are on tonight, reminded me. I don't even watch "24", but I'm watching it instead of the Golden Globes. (Well, I'm watching the GG's during the commercials.)

What about you?

Eh....I really don't care. I used to when I was a kid, but not anymore. DH loves to watch the country music awards shows, I think there are like 4 of them. But that's so he can see the performances.

I used to watch them all. But now I only watch the Oscars, and even then I get bored. Plus, I don't really like the political overtone of some of the people. I watch it to be entertained, not politicized (is that a word?)

I occassionally watch them. It really depends on who is hosting them. If it is someone that I know will spend the entire evening bashing the government and pushing their own agenda then I won't give the show a minute of my time.
