Default Do You Watch Food TV?

I watch food tv a lot as well as Martha Stewart and cooking shows on PBS but rarely do I try the recipes. I suppose I watch more for entertainment. But the fact that I seldom try any of the recipes tells me that maybe I should be watching less and doing something more productive.

We watch Food Network when we can - Emeril, Paula Deen, Iron Chef America (sometimes), $40 a day, and various other shows that interest us.

I used to watch it, but we cut back to just basic cable. Sometimes in the evening, the channel will come in. I always watched Rachel Ray and paula dean. I have tried a few things I've seen on the show.

When I'm visiting my in-laws I do. My FIL is the cook in the family so we sit around and watch the food network. On sat. mornings the local PBS station has cooking shows on and my DH and I watch Rick Bayless and America's test kitchen.

I watch occasionally. I tried the ballpark weinies mac n cheese, not sure if that is exactly what it was called, that Rachel Ray suggested. It was nasty, all we could taste was the ketchup and mustard. LOL

Yes, especially around the holidays. I dont use any of their recipes, but Ive learned a lot from them.
One of my favs is the Iron Chef and iron Chef America. The only downfall to watching this channel is that I get really hungry!

I watch the Food Network all the time. I really miss Natalie Dupree on PBS, though. I used to watch her every Saturday on GA Public Broadcasting.
