Who Is Your Favorite Celebrity Chef?
My favorite celebrity chefs are Emeril and Paula Deen. They both have personality. Paula's cooking is more homestyle which is what I prefer. There is a new food tv chef named Robin (I can't recall her last name). I like her style of cooking also. It appears she cooks fast but tasty homestyle meals.

I really like Rachel Ray, even though she's a little goofy sometimes. I also like Paula Dean. Emeril gets on my nerves sometimes.

I used to like Rachel Ray- she's my home gal. (I used to bake pastries for the gourmet food store she worked in.) Now she just gets on my nerves most of the time because she is so goofy, but I still kinda' like her. Sandra Lee makes me crazy too, but I do watch them both occasionally for the quick foods they make.
Conversely, I could never stand Emeril years ago, and now I like him. I also like Paula Deen.
But my favorites are.....
.....The Iron Chefs from the original Japanese series. I lovwe them all. Sakai is probably my very favorite, then Morimoto, and I like them all a lot.
DH and I used to LOVE watching Iron Chef. I would never eat ANY of the food they make, but I love the show. I has an appeal I can't describe. Je nes ce quois- yes, that is it.

I got a freeby month of HGTV and the Food network in November so I got to see some chefs.
My favourite was Barefoot Contessa closely followed by Nigella.
I love them.
Barefoot is such a cutie, so soft spoken, and gentle, and such a way with things. I tried several of her recipes and they worked. I really liked her style and personality. I want to buy her cookbooks but they are so expensive.
Nigella is adorable. She has such a free wheeling approach to food and recipes and she is wonderful. I tried some of her stuff, and I've bought some of her cookbooks and really like her too.

I watch them all the time.
I like Paula Deen..Tyler florence..Ina Garten..Giada de Laurentis..Emeril has been getting on my nerves--he repeats himself at least 3 times when he is trying to explain things!
I do enjoy most of the cooking shows and I like HGTV also.

Oh Liz, yes Giada di Laurentis -- I liked her very much too.
and Ina Garten, is barefoots real name, which I couldn't remember. I think of her as Barefoot, and I love that I managed to get her and some of Nigella's shows on tape.
