yes, it was a 2 parter, so I think they'll do a recap for you at the beginning of the second part next Sunday.

    Here's the gist:

George is waking up from a dream involving all three girls, naughty young George, when Izzy wants help getting Meredith out of bed. They fail and call in the big gun, Yang.

She tools in, and tries to be compassionate with Meredith who thinks life isn't worth living without mcdreamy and mcdog.

Yang in typical Yang fashion blows a gasket trying to be warm and fuzzy and ends up ripping off the covers, yelling at her and making like a drill sergeant.

They are at work, the or slate is almost empty and the surgeons are all at loose ends. Yangs bf wonders why she disappeared that morning. Yang doesn't want to admit to being on a compassion call for a friend.

The interns all line up by the emergency room doors waiting for any sign of a possible emergency to sink their baby scalpels into.

Meredith continues to ponder life, pain, loss and her feeling of impending death doom and disaster. McDreamy naturally catches up to her and they share a moment of pain together before getting on with their day.

When BAILEY shows up all preggers, and screams at them for blowing thru a number of residents. Seems she isn't there to take over as their boss, but she gets a hug from George anyways whereupon her water breaks.

Things start heating up. An ambulance comes in complete with blood drenched man, plus screaming non stop wife and ambulance attendant with hand stuck in man stopping major bleed.

The other guy, Izzy's on again off again love interest, whatizname finds out there is an unexploded howitzer shell in the guy and tries to warn the vascular surgeon that is dating Yang.

McDreamy on the other hand has to operate on Bailey's dh who got in an accident on the way to the hospital and got a head injury.

so he is operating on the dh, the other OR is engaged with the bleeder who has a bomb in his belly

when the bomb squad comes in on the act.

It ends with Meredith taking the place of the ambulance attendant, holding the howitzer shell (home made) steady while Bailey gets ready to have her baby in another shot.

Good episode, lots of funny bits, it will definitely be in reruns during the hiatus.

I was a little disappointed with the way they started the show this time. The opening "shower scene" with the girls was almost enough to make me turn it off, and I love that show.

Oh well, the rest of the show was really good. I'm looking forward to it next Sunday.

yes it was a bit much, but fortunately before dh's and my eyes bugged out and fell on the floor along with our teeth, it was over, turning out to be a fast dream sequence.

You can be sure that the shower scene was strategically placed at the beginning of the show to lure any men who hadn't been able to pry themselves from the couch yet into watching the show.

I had never seen the show before. I was lured in with the commercial, so we made a point to watch it.

I'm no prude, believe me, but I was put off by the shower scene, too. Remember, this was the *first* time I had ever seen the show. Not impressed. From what I gather, that's not the way it always is.

Then, it wasn't as good as they made it out to be......or at least in my opinion. ......*AND* it's a "to be continued!!" I donno, I watched it all, though, so the advertisers did their job.

Of course.....I'm a *HUGE* fan of "6 feet under" and it's very graphic in the "mature" department.....so I guess if I would just give it a chance (like I did with 6FU) then maybe I'd like it.

Plus, I'm not crazy about network TV....the commercials get on my nerves.
