Saturday nights- what do you watch?
This is assuming that, like me, you're home most Saturday nights with your child(ren).
It just seems like there's nothing on worth watching-- Cops and the Ohio Lottery gameshow are all I can even think of that's usually on. I don't watch either one of those, so I end up flipping through cable channels. Sometimes Iron Chef is on the Food Network- I do like that one.
In my more energetic days, I'd just turn off the tv and find something else-- like scrapbooking-- to do. However, being pregnant and sick, TV is about all I can handle by evening time.
So what do you watch if you're home on Saturdays?

I'm not a big TV person. Since we don't have kids we go out a lot on Saturday nights or go to friends' house so I don't know what comes on Saturday nights. Since we're hanging at home tonight we will probably watch a movie and relax.

There's usually nothing on TV (in Kentucky, anyway) on Saturday nights. DH and I watched Matrix Revolutions today, and he's now playing Game Cube.
As I typed that last sentence he shouted down the hall "You wanna do anything tonight?"
If there was a good show on, he wouldn't even ask.
We get Netflix, since it's cheaper than renting movies at the store. In my opinion, I like it because it I forget that I'm getting movies in the mail and which ones I have on my list, so it's always a suprise.
Better go, the bored husband is calling. It's not enough that we're wives and do all that goes along with being a wife, but event planner/entertainment guru? I mean, really...it never ends, does it?

Not much... Since DH works nights, I usually let it be what ever the kids are wanting to watch. Lately it has been the Disney movie on the Disney Channel... I take the time to do some deep cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom, and maybe do some extra laundry.

There is one show that comes on, but I can't recall if it is 48 Hours or Investigative Reports. I don't typically watch it, because it comes on pretty late, but I tape it and catch it early on Sunday evening (before Cold Case
)
I don't watch Cops because, as they say, "I is one." When I was going through our academy, we used to watch Cops and WWF just about every night, just to point out and laugh about what everyone was doing wrong!

Usually I can't find anything to watch on Sat. Unless ABC family, TNT or TBS has a pretty decent movie or there is a good comedy on USA. Other than that I mostly don't watch TV much on Saturday's until Joe gets home and then we usually pop in a DVD or one of us will play on the computer and the other will play a video game.
