Question What are you reading in April?

    I'm looking for ideas!

I'm reading The Preachers Daughter by Beverly Lewis, Time Management from the inside out, and another time management book (can't think of name offhand).

The three books on my nightstand are:
Night by Elie Wiesel, (saw it was a pick by Oprah and found it on my husband's shelf)
Saving Fish from Drowning by Amy Tan (given to me by my sister)
False Impression by Jeffrey Archer (from the library, need to read this one first)

I just finished The Stand ( an old Stephen King book that I had never read) pretty good, kind of spooky. Reading North and South, Barbara Bush a Memoir, Chicken Soup for the Couples Soul, Saving Faith and a pile of magazines.

I'm looking for ideas too. I found Sidney Sheldon's "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" in my book give-away box. Not sure why I put it there, it is brand new.

I just completed Black Creek Crossing by John Saul. It was a terrible book I definately would not recommend it, poor character development and a lousy ending. I just started Angels and Demon by Dan Brown and so I am really enjoying it. After I complete it, I have The Poisonwood Bible , I tried to read it several years ago and never completed it. I hope that I will enjoy it more this time.

I have read Mary Hunt's "The Financially Confident Woman", Starte Ellie Kay's "Shop, Save, and Share" last night. I have several others waiting, most have been recommended by others that are trying to save money.

Decided not to read SS. I have taken The Oxford Murders by Guillermo Martininez from the Library. I was not sure that I would like it, but I do. Also, decided to re-read The Power of Intention by Dr. Wayn Dyer. This will be my "bed book".

On vacation I read a book by Michelle Malkin (political), The Bronte Project by Jennifer Vandever (fiction) and A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby (fiction)

I finished ANGELS & DEMONS by Dan Brown. It was a great book. I highly recommend it. I tried to read THE POISONWOOD BIBLE again and had the same results, I just could not get past the first chapter, it was boring me to tears. I am starting THE UNDOMESTIC GODDESS by Sophie Kinsella today.

Just finished The Secret Life of Bees and am starting on The Mermaids Chair both by Sue Monk Kidd. The first book was very very good and made me cry (aka:moved me) and am really looking forward to reading the second.

So far I have read Mary Mary by James Patterson and Circle of Quilters by Jennifer Chiaverini--Just came out. The rest of the month I have many quilt projects to work on so that is probably all I will read this month.
