There's just something weird about it. When all that "No noise" business came out, I looked at my husband and said "I dare you to say one word about how much noise I make." He said, "You do whatever you want, I'm not in a cult."

I was still pregnant when this whole silent birth stuff came about. DH joked we should try, I said sure, but first let me repeatedly kick/stomp on your package and see if you can keep quiet. He never said another word

I was listeneing to a show yeaterday and they said a silent birth means that all the docs and nurses are asked to keep speaking and noise to a minimum,the mother is allowed to make noise if she has too and they are allowed to take meds.Funny thingis Brooke Shields had her baby girl yesterday.Lets just hope Katie has no post partun depression

Barbra Walters interviewed Tom Cruise last week or maybe it was Monday night as he was waiting to get a call on the baby.

Anyhow, he said exactly what you just wrote down, he said that he wanted it quiet so that Katy could have as less stress as possible, he said if she wants to scream she can scream all she wants (or something similar to that....lol) and he also said that if she wants an epidural she can have one

Also, I just saw this today on www.dotmed.com , an aritcle about Tom Cruise buying and using an Ultrasound to check up on the baby etc.

A little off topic, but speaking of Barbara Walters, she said on the View yesterday that years ago, she slept with a pretty famous actor who kept his socks on.

i carried the baby for 9 months i will make all the dang noise i want, and my husband knows that..........lol.....i dare him to say a word to me......lol!!!!!
