Default Did Anyone See The Boy Stabbed By His Father On Oprah Today?

I was so intrigued by the little eight year old boy's story on Oprah today. For those of you who did not see it, a young boy was on the show whose father stabbed him with a butcher knife 5 times after killing his mother. The boy was able to call 911 to report the incident. The audio of the boy calling 911 was played, and it sounded like a little kid playing on the phone. He did not sound traumatized at all. He told the dispatcher at the police station that his daddy had killed his mommy and then he killed him.

The dispatcher asked how he could be talking to her if he was killed. He said he somehow survived but he was almost gone. The dispatcher tried to keep him on the phone until the police arrived but after awhile he suddenly said he had to go, and hung up abruptly.

It was later determined he had to go so fast as the father had returned to the scene. The police arrived at around the same time.

What was so remarkable about this story, was Oprah asked the little boy how he called 911. He said the angels lifted him up so he could reach the phone. He said the angels stayed with him and he had to get off the phone so fast because his daddy was coming back and the angels told him to act like he was dead.

The paramedic said when he arrived the boy was in horrible shape and had the look of impending death in his eyes. He said he sent a quick prayer up to heaven and then administered to the little boy.

On the show, the little boy was so calm and collected. He did not seem like he had been traumatized in any way. When I first heard this little boy was going to be on Oprah, I thought it was cruel to ask a child to speak about such a personal horrific event. I changed my mind. So many people have said this story has restored their faith in God.

If you go to www.oprah.com today, you can see a picture of the little boy on the front page of her website and hear the 911 call.I'm sure this is going to be a big topic of discussion on her forums.

For one horrible moment I thought this all happened ON the show.

I mean it's horrible either way, but I just couldn't believe someone had been killed on national TV and I wasn't hearing about it until just now.
