Default What Are You Reading In June?

I am reading Sweet Revenge by Fern Michaels and my June library book read is The Wedding by Dorothy West.

I think I found the perfect "bed" book too, Don't Wear Your Wedding Ring written by Lillian O'Donnell. I am not familiar with this author. The book was first published in 1973. Oh yes. it is a mystery.

I am reading Duane Elgin's book "Voluntary Simplicity", so far I'm liking it. I am also reading "The Skinny" by Patricia Marx and Susan Sistrom It discusses how skinny women think. For example I only recently noticed that skinny people only drink diet soda.

    1. Got the Complete Tightwad Gazette...Am trying to read at least 1 essay/day.
    2. Bel Canto (which I bought in DC, shame on me.)
    3. The Rule of Four which a girlfriend loaned to me. Need to finish that before the end of the month when I'll see her again.

Today I'm reading Michael Chrichton's State of Fear. Tomorrow I'll probably start something from my stack of non-fiction, but I'm not sure what. I just finished Shelby Steele's White Guilt last week. Definitely thought provoking.

I just picked up "Simple Abundance, A daybook of Comfort and Joy" at the Good Will ( only $2.99). Even though it is a day book, I'll probably read it like a novel.

    Has anyone read it?

Well, I started "Two Little Girls in Blue" by Mary Higgins-Clark but I was crying in the first chapter and about having a panic attack, so I'll have to read it later!

Right now I'm reading "High Energy Living".

I've got 3 books going right now,
    Nora Roberts "Black Rose"
Arthur Hertzler's "The Horse and Buggy Doctor"
Roderick Kiracofe "The American Quilt a Histtory of Cloth and Comfort"

Dh laughs at how I can keep all 3 straight.
Horse and Buggy are in my truck and I read it while waiting on kids to finish practices. Nora is in the bedroom I read every evening from 8 to 9pm, can't stand tv. The quilt book is by my chair and is a when I've got 2 minutes book, it'll take the longest to finish.

LOL - They think it is strange that we can read several books at once and "still get it". I guess they don't understand that we are multi-taskers
