    Default Flight Plan

We got a free month of Blockbuster Online (like Netflix) and we got Flight Plan with Jodie Foster last week. Thought it would be a good scare. They said it was like The Sixth Sense.

My review? That's 98 minutes of my life I'll never have back.

It was not suspenseful at all. The acting wasn't great and the story was just plain stupid. And I LOVE almost all movies. This one? Thumbs down.

I absolutely agree. I watched Flight Plan with high expectations because I had heard great reviews from both professional movie reviewers and from friends but I was disappointed in it. I did not feel like Jody Foster's acting was the same caliber that we have come to expect from her and the monotony of the movie was grating to the nerves. I think that monotone color that the movie had for the most part was a another negative for me.

Bet you Flight plan is 1 million times better than Ishtar. I'm still kicking myself about that and it's gotta be about 20 years ago that that horrible "movie" was made. You had 98 min of hell, I think I had 3 days. Lol, but it wasn't. Funny how something like spending $$ on an idiot movie can carry over and still annoy you years later.
Done with my rant & hope you can let go Amy....
PS. I VOW never to bring up the name of this movie again. Signed Me, 6/4/06 and no baiting from my friends allowed.

    I liked it as well.

Perhaps you were going the 'raves' and 'reviews' too much. I took the movie for face value. But it wasnt the typical suspense/thriller like John Grisham etc who gets all the hype.

But now you know for yourself I've said that about time lost on other bad movies before too - cant win them all!

I am a big Jodie Foster fan so I also rented flightplan when it was released. I am with you Amy. It was really very dry to say the least and not at all scary or suspenseful. Not at all like most of Jodie Fosters films.
