Getting to know each other: Do you watch soap operas?

Do you watch soap operas? If you do, do you watch the same ones that your Mom watched or did you choose yours as you got older. Which ones do you watch?

I have watched Day of Our Lives for as long as I can remember. My grandmother watched it when I was growing up along with Another World and The Doctors. I watched Another World until the day it went off the air. I also watch The Young and the Restless, my Mom watched it when I was growing up and I always liked it while I was growing up because in the summer when the kids were out of school they would add an additional storyline about the teenagers on the show.

What about you..do you watch?

I watched one when I was growing up it was called Dark Shadows......... Do watch anything now

All my Children used to be my favorite, but I haven't watched a soap since the early 80's.

I watch Days of Our Lives a few days a week. When I'm home I usually try to eat lunch around 1pm, and watch while I eat. Also, right now, I catch it sometimes at 11pm on the Soap Network while I'm feeding the baby.

My mom watched Days when I was a kid, although when I got older she switched to another show.

I watch Days and Passions. Although I have not watched Passions for a while because I am usually at the pool when it comes on. I was getting so frustrated with the way the story lines were going.

Yes, I watch (not every day) Days, OLTL, and sometimes GH. I don't actually sit and watch them the whole time they're on. I listen more than watch because I'm always doing some kind of chore then.

My mother watched all ABC soaps when I was growing up. I only started watching Days in college because my roommate watched it.

Don't watch any at all. My mom watched them while I was growing up and I never liked them.

I used to watch Days with my mom, but I really haven't watched now since I was a teenager.

I still remember all the characters though. DH and I were channel flipping a while back and came across Days on the Soap Opera channel. I started screaming out all the names, Kayla, Patch, Hope, Marlena!! DH just looked at me like I was nuts!
