Hmmm...I don't see any of those things as that extreme. My dh travels and brings back all the complementary shampoos, etc. he gets. Lots of people do the time-share thing just for the goodies they get free. The pantyhose rugs just seemed not very practical due to the slipperyness (is that a word???) but people have been making rag rugs for years....
My SIL has done much more extreme things!
