Wow...10 years later. If this is, in fact, the culprit, I'm glad they never gave up looking and are now, possibly, bringing him to justice!!!

Ten bloody years... That pretty little girl suffered so much, and there has been so much hype about this. For the sake of everyone, I really do hope that this is the person and that they can finally close this case. This must be an amazing relief for her poor family. However, I still have my suspicions.

Wow, after ten years. I heard that her mom, Patsy, died recently of cancer.

I just heard on the news that before the mom died, she was told of this suspect. It will be interesting to watch!

Kinda weird. I was just watching a deal a couple of weeks ago detailing the Jo Benet murder.

Even though I tried to keep an open mind about the family's guilt or innocence, I can't help but feel absolutely horrible for what they had to go through. I can't fathom the pain they were subjected to by all the overzealous media. It's sad, sad, sad.

So glad they found the scum of the earth. Hey, Bubba's got a new girlfriend. Inmates aren't very nice to pervs who harm children.

Nor should they be. I'm a pretty compassionate person, but things like rape and harm to children and women boil my blood.
gets very upset at it too. I've seen him stand up for women he doesn't even know against men that were making them uncomfortable.
I don't want to say "Yes" or "No" about this guy until there is more on the story, but it's going to be interesting over the next couple of weeks how things go.If you're interested in frugal living, minimalism and and

I am glad that they are finally after all these years getting some justice for that precious little girl. It is a shame that they had to make her entire families lives a living he#% for all these years by throwing the shadow of doubt onto them when they could not come up with a suspect. I hope that bubba's new girlfriend gets the reception that he deserves when he gets to his new home.

I can understand the suspicions of the police -- the claim of the family was an intruder came into the house, sexually violated their daughter, strangled and beat her, and left, and they never heard a thing.
It would definitely sound fishy to me, as well. But it's up to the professionals to make decisions about that, and I'm no professional. (I just loooooooooooooooove crime dramas.
)
Did anyone read that this guy, John (fill in the blank) Karr claimed that he "loved" her?
SHE'S SIX YEARS OLD!!!
People are scary, scary creatures.
What gets under my skin is, if he felt so guilty and sad about this whole thing, and if he claims it was "an accident" why wouldn't he, in good conscience, go to someone and confess? Fear of jail is one thing, but wouldn't this eat at you for ten years? If he "loved" her and he killed her, wouldn't he want to be punished for it? :nerv: I don't understand some people.
Sorry for the rant, but this kind of thing seriously ticks me off.

I was watching Oprah but had to stop because it is on child molesters but fortunately these were caught. It makes me SICK what pedophiles will do to satisfy their lust/gain power or whatever it is that they do it for and I don't believe short of turning to Christ that they can or will change. UGH! I can't stand the thought of what those kids go through and not just during but after.
