Rosie's blog is compelling. lol I was up late one night just reading away.
It'll be interesting to see how the personalities interact on The View.If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. Found this, this morning.....
EVERYTHING ISN'T ROSIE ON THE VIEW
August 30, 2006
Power-mad Rosie O'Donnell hasn't even debuted on The View — and she's already miffed over not calling the shots!
Barbara Walters and the show's other co-hosts got their first taste of life with Rosie when the Emmy winner recently posted a huffy notice on her blog.
On Aug. 17, Rosie wrote in her stream-of-consciousness style: "saw the new view promos/and found myself in the position/I loathe most/powerless
"it will be hard 4 me/2 not b/the boss/it is already/and we have only just begun"
The comments are Rosie's way of firing the first salvo in what's sure to be TV's newest battlefield, sources say.
"Barbara Walters thought she got rid of her problems when she axed Star Jones. Little does she know Rosie is going to be as much, if not more of a handful, than Star ever was," an insider revealed.
"This is going to be a wild ride!"

I knew as soon as they hired Rosie that there would be problems. I can't see her sharing the spotlight with anyone. I wish Meredith would come back and Star too.

i didn't like how Star announced she'd not be comming back. I think it was an internal issue and not something for her to broadcast before planned. It seemed tacky to me. but that's just my opinion.
I'll miss seeing meridth oon the show, but she's got such a great opportunity there on the Today show. Good for her, i intend to make a point to watch it.
as far as Rosie goes, i dunno, because she was the center of her own show, it might feel weird to her to share the spotlight as it were. But we'll see. i will watch and see how it goes.~~ Missy ~~

I can't help but feel sorry for Elizabeth. Joy and Rosie are both so loud and opinionated and have such different belief systems then her. I have a feeling she's going to get steam rolled.

It will be interesting to see the meshing of all the different personalities on the show. I am curious to see how the chemistry is when they are all on the show. I like Rosie but I would have never dreamed of her doing a show like the View, I guess time will tell if they made a good choice or not.

I forgot to add, I am absolutely glad that they got rid of Star Jones. I really liked her before she lost her weight but afterwards, she was an entirely different person afterwards and I did not enjoy her at all. I also got tired of her boobs hanging out everytime I saw her, she must not have realized that not everyone in the viewing audience was as interested in her cleavage as she was.

on cnn they were saying the whole free stuff for her wedding REALLY turned fans off and they got tons of comments that she was weathly enough to provide that for herself...she admited on larry king ( i read) that she regrets it.and it was a mistake)
the thinness....i dont know i just felt her persona changed.....
and as for rosie on the view...on her shoe she was relaxed and in sweats and jeans and i cant see that with barbra walters....i dont think the show will do that great....im curious who will replace star
