Anyone Have TIVO or Another DVR?
Dh and I have been considering getting TIVO or another type of Digital Video Recorder. Any recommendations, thoughts, or comments about these would be greatly helpful! Thanks!

We have a DVR and we love it! It gives us the freedom to go and do what we want but still see the ending to things or watch important shows on our own time

We got TiVo a couple of weeks ago and we love it. I wish I had gotten it a lot sooner. It is great!
If you decide to go with TiVo, check the internet for deals because there are some great ones out there. I got my machine free and signed up for 1 years service at a reduced price of $12.95 per month.

I have had my DVR with my digital cable about a year. I love it!! I record a lot of shows and watch them later. I record my soap opera every day and watch it when I have time.

love love love our Tivo! It's really easy to use, I think you'll love it too!
“When you get to the end of all the light you know

you will be given something solid to stand on,
or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller
“Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
there are signs that the world is speedily
coming to an end;
bribery and corruption are common; children no
longer obey their parents;
every man wants to write a book and the
end of the world is evidently approaching.”

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

We got our dvr through our cable company and love it. The cost was only $4 more a month and it's just replaced our regular cable box. I wouldn't go back to using a vcr for nothing. I can't wait for the new seasons to begin!

We have the DVR through our cable company and both DH & I love it. Being able to fast forward through stupid commercials is the best. Plus, it saves time when you are catching up on watching a week's worth of shows (which is how it usually works out for me).

We got a DVR when we had Dish TV installed last week. I really like it. It was so awesome to be able to pause the Notre Dame game Saturday night so we could take a quick break. Also, like being able to set it up once to record all shows, or just new shows, etc.... also can record movies to watch later and protect them if you don't want to lose the recording when you get a lot built up. You will love it!
