Her situation sounds a lot like mine, except I have a DH who also works, but together our student loan total is about the same as Schopp's and we have no CC debt.

What I have noticed with my demographic is that we might be willing to make cuts when we are students when we get that "real job" we expect that we are gonna be living that upper middle class lifestyle. I was on that road when I got reality checked quickly. Thankfully, my DH and I still live in our very afforadable apartment, have only one car and live a pretty frugal life or we'd not be able to pay on the SL monthly AND save an average of 1K a month.
