I am about 1/4 way through Before Women had Wings by Connie May Fowler. I just finished Jodi Picoult's Plain Truth (I wasn't crazy about it.) Before that I read Letter to A Christian Nation by Sam Harris. Does anyone have any Jodi Picoult books that they loved? I read Salem Falls and I liked that.

I haven't read any fiction in a while but I suppose I will pull out my Christmas-themed regencies soon. I just finished Mary Hunt's The Complete Cheapskate and found it very interesting.

I just finished The Wolfolk Tragedy - true story about a man accused & hung for killing his family in the late 1800's - 9 people were murdered with an ax - it happened in Georgia - wow, it was a powerful bit to read, and this man promised he was innocent of these horrible crimes the entire time!
If anyone has an interest in history, I'd suggest this book - it was very interesting (as well as disturbing) to have a look at how the legal process took place in the 1800's ~
Now, I am reading "Ahab's Wife" ((forgot the author)) so far, so good

I am finishing up Sleep No More by Greg Iles. It is a great book, interesting and keeps you reading. I am listening to the unabridged version of In the Dark of the Night by John Saul on CD in my car and only have about an hour or so left till the end of it. I would not recommend it, it is not one of his better works, very predictable storyline with some unnecessary gore thrown in.

I am just finising up Lamb, The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhhood Friend. It is really a good book. I think the author is Chris Morrison and he takes an interesting approach to what happened in Jesus' life the 30 years before the gospels start. There are some pretty funny parts, but I am not finding it disrspectful. The book club I am in read it this month.
Current books I'm reading:
The Red Queen

I have not ready any of Rollins books but Amazonia is on my request list at the library. It looks great. I read A Dirty Job by Chris Moore, the author of Biff and loved it. It was hilarious, I love British comedy and he is one of the best.
