That was a good article. Well-written. Made me question my stash of "stuff."

Next has a sale twice a year, and it's absolutely mental! People line up for hours and hours before the store opens at 4a.m.! Everything in the store is always 50% off or more. I was going to go to the after Christmas sale this year to get some clothes for my kids, but then my friend (who has two little boys) gave me a HUGE bag of clothes ranging in age from 9 months to 18 months. All from Next, most looked like they haven't even been worn. Then on e-bay I got an enormous box of clothes for my daughter for £50 including postage, all from Next, all in great condition. Needless to say, I didn't go to the Next sale. My SIL asked me if I went and I told her no and why, and she said, "Oh, I would have gone anyway." Why? I'm not going to spend money just for the sake of it.

When my kids have outgrown the clothes, I'll put them right back on e-bay and sell them.
