I am not able to sit through scary movies. I have to keep leaving the room or just not watch them.

We love scary movies, but dh gets scared and won't turn off the lights if we watch them right before bed. LOL. After we watched the Grudge I turned off the lights and started making that noise the monster made, he freaked out and made me turn the lights back on, It was hilarious and he has a good sense of humor so he was laughing too(once the lights were on of course)
We own all 3 final destinations(I pd $8 for #3 and $6 for each of the other 2) and we really enjoy them. I like movies that scare me but I don't like being grossed out(dh likes the blood and guts movies).

Oh I can't handle scary stories at all. Now give me a good ol' true crime drama on television or on www.CrimeLibrary.net and I'm happy as a little morbid lark. But watching a horror movie? Nope, I'd be messed up for weeks.
and I have an unspoken agreement -- he forbids me from seeing horror movies, because he knows the terrible effect they have on me. And I forbid him from seeing movies that involve a woman getting beaten or raped because it will ruin him for weeks. Granted, no one really likes seeing that at all, but the movie "Boys Don't Cry" with Hilary Swank (her first Golden Globe award, I think) is on his "Forbidden" list, as an example. We watched "The Notorious Bettie Page" and he was extremely angry for a good three days about a sceen in that where Bettie Page is abducted and forced to preform sexual acts on several young men. The scene lasts all of two minutes and doesn't even show anything, but even still, he was extremely upset.
