    Default Oprah - Monday

This Monday, Oprah will be talking about - increasing your wealth.

She'll also have a follow up on the participating families from her Debt Diet series.

I am looking forward to seeing the followup on the families featured last year. I am wondering if they changed their spendthrift ways.

I admit, the first time the Debt Diet aired, I had to turn it off after the first couple episodes. I was too irritated by the couples and their spendthift/impassive attitudes.

I finally saw the entire series when they were shown as reruns.

I'm going to have to pick up a cord for my VCR so I can tape this and watch it when I get home.

I'm going to try and tape it too.
I am interested to see how they are all doing.

Their ideas on budgets etc. seemes so outrageous, but it really is amazing to think about the number of people who live like that.

Default I already checked it out on Oprah's website...

You can get a good preview of what's on. There are several slideshows including the updates on each of the original families. If you go on the homepage and click on "What's coming up this week" another window will pop up. Then you can click on the link inside that smaller window for Monday 1/22.

There are about 8 different slide shows detailing the show. Very interesting! It seems the Widlands have gone into $37,000 more in debt. The wife, Marnie, just stopped talking to her money coach and went back to her immature ways, I guess. It is really sad. The other 2 families seem to have made a lot of progress.

Thank you for the reminder. I always wondered what happened with the couples.

Goes to show you some people are just untrainable. They don't really want to change.

And the Widlands are wasting their chance to work with a money coach FOR FREE.
