    Default Great books!!

    A Child Called It
    The Lost Boy
    Both by David Pelzer

My daughter brought them home for me to read. They were both really good even though I cried through them both. They are true stories and the first one is abouth the child abuse he lived through and the second is about his experiences in foster care.

I read "A Child Called It" and I couldnt believe what I was reading, it's a shame and yes I was in tears, the things so children indure is so heart wrenching. I hope to pick up the other book in a while, right now I am focusing on the TMMO workbook.

I remembered seeing him on the Montell Williams show. He has a very sad childhood but he seems to be doing good now and is helping others by telling his story.

I tried to read that. I can handle just about any true-crime drama or story, but I couldn't get past Chapter 3 of that. Just physically couldn't bring myself to read further than that. And I know will never read it either -- he just can't take that kind of thing. So I doubt I'll ever read or see anything about it.
