    Default American Idol

We watched American Idol. I couldn't help but feel sorry for the many contestants who made it to Hollywood but didn't make the cut tonight. They really had high hopes. And tomorrow night even more will be purged with only 12 women and 12 men out of the 40 left.

I was the same way. Probably the one that I felt the worst for was that gal from TX - Bailey something or other. You kind of just knew that if she had a better group she would have made it through.

I'm so glad we're finally to the Hollywood shows! So far the only contestants that stick out to me are Sundance and the guy who looks like Jack Osbourne. I really like both of them.

Hurray for Hollywood The prior shows were getting silly. I was glad the "mean" friend that was in Bailey's group did not make it through. She had no sympathy for Bailey. She could really sing, but couldn't remember her lines! Bless her heart. Maybe next year..she is only 16. So far, I really like the guy with the curly hair.

Bailey has talent. She is young, only 16 so she will probably be back next year. She definitely has the talent and the ambition to go forward. I think it may be even better when she is a little older anyway. She needs to spend the next year being a teen instead of working on her career.

~I was really impressed with the 4 guy group that had the beatbox-er. I jumped off the couch to give them a standing ovation and DH looked at me like I was nuts!(he was super impressed too, just didn't want to admit a "boy band" was good)~

~Oh, and I liked the girl in the white tank top(Marisa?Lindsay?) that was frustrated with Shakira wannabe because she was off key. Her tone was sooooo pretty. I LOVE all the drama!~

I felt horrible for Bailey. I thought the judges made a wrong move. I know she forgot her words, but so did that other girl (the flirt). I thought she should have been the one to go.

I bet Bailey will try out again next year. If she had a better group she would have gotten thru. I am glad the friend didnt make it, I wanted to slap her. I think the front runner already is the guy with the curly hair. We will have to see

I'm puzzled at all the Bailey love here. She's a definitely a cute girl and I didn't particularly care for the "best friends", but Bailey didn't remember any of the words. That just won't work in show business.
