LOST season finale
Any thoughts/comments on last night episode? All I can say is WOW, I didn't see it coming...lol
It makes me think back to the first season when there was an article in TV guide with the writers/creators that said something along the lines of (re: flasbacks/off the island scenes) that we don't know if they happened before or after the crash.
If I had to wager a guess, I'd say last nights happened after, or else they have a lot of 'splaining to do.....lol

I wish, just once, when they promise to answer more questions....they would actually ANSWER QUESTIONS
Instead of creating more questions.

ITA, I missed last nights show so I started watching it at work. I just finished rewatching the last scene and something that was said made me realize its most likely a flash forward instead of a flashback, none the less i am totally LOST and will be so until next year when it starts up again......
3 seasons down, 3 more to go before we know anything and everything.....don't know if I can take 3 more years of this torture though...lol

Warning: If you haven't seen the episode there are multiple spoilers below...
I was spoiled so I knew that Jack's story would be a "flash-forward". Philip wasn't spoiled but he figured it out within the first 30 minutes. I hope it's just one "possible" future because I think Jack was really sad & pathetic last night and I don't want him to be permanently like that!
I loved Sayid last night. Honestly, I love him whenever he's on but he was just cool last night. I liked the interaction between Sawyer & Juliet.
What was up with John Locke? He kills a woman he doesn't even know to stop her from phoning her boat but then he can't shoot the phone out of Jack's hand or tackle him or something? Makes no sense.
I don't really care about Charlie one way or the other but it was sad when Baby Aaron started crying.
Mikhail is just about indestructible, isn't he?! I have to say I started laughing at the sight of him in goggles.
If I had to wager on whose funeral it was I'd guess Ben or Locke. I know the paper said something else but either one of those guys could have changed his name.
My only major disappointment is that Kate seems to be fine in the future.

I wondered why Locke killed tht lady too, I know that Locke might "feel" or "know" that she was going to bring something bad to the Island. I don't know why he wouldn't have just killed Jack too, if he was trying to prevent a rescue for whatever reason.
It was so sad when Charlie died and then Claire's baby cried at that moment. It really seems like that guy with the patch cannot be killed.
I think Jacob came to Locke in the form of Walt to give him strength to stop contact with any people from outside the Island.
I was so relieved when we found out that Sayid, Bernard, and Gin were still alive. It was amazing when Hurley saved the day.
I think it was a flash forward that we saw Jack and Kate in. I wondered if John or Ben was the one in the casket.
I can't wait for next season, it's getting really interesting!

Hmm, I'm thinking Locke killed the lady because he did not want to get out of the island (remember, he was "healed" after crashing)
Awesome episode!!

My thoughts on John killing the woman with the satellite phone? He somehow knows that she isn't who she said she was.
Think about it, the sat-phone woman said she was hired by a woman named Penelope to find Desmond. Only, when Charlie had Penelope on the radio/tv thing in the underwater hatch, she said it was not her ship.
Ben said that those who were on the ship were not who they said they were. While I don't like him, he's a slimy bastard....he has told the truth an awful lot.
I actually thought from the beginning of the episode when they showed Jack with a beard that it was a flash forward. I don't know why, but I thought...all that time on the island & he never grew a beard, NOW he grows a beard??
Dh called it last week when Locke was shot. He said Lock would heal himself, like he did after the wreckage, after he was stabbed through the leg (I think when Boone died).
I am very very very sad that they killed Charlie. He was one of my favorites
I want to know:
-who is in the casket
-who/what is Jacob & what is his significance
-if John actually saw the real Walt or was it a 'vision' again
-WHAT the heck all this has to do with polar bears and things that sound like dinosaurs that pluck pilots out of the trees & eat them!!!!! (first season reference)

Yeah, I get why John Locke killed Naomi. What I don't get is why he didn't take more action to stop Jack, if it was that important to him (Locke). Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he didn't kill or hurt Jack, but I just think if you're willing to kill someone to stop something from happening, you'd be willing to kill again to stop that thing from happening. Make sense?
The writers have screwed around with Locke's character a bit too often for me. Nothing he does or says is consistent any more.
Then again, I'm pretty sure a lot of questions will never be answered and I've never thought that the producers had an "over-arching" plan, no matter what they say. Yeah, I'm cynical like that.

I think that there maybe was only one bullet in the gun Locke had. Remember when he was planning to shoot himself, he opened the barrel (sorry, i don't know anything about guns
) and moved it around to put a bullet in the right place. I think he did that b/c there was only one bullet. He held the gun to Jack just to bluff. Just my guess. I am also holding out a little hope that Charlie might not be dead. I mean, how many times have they tried to convince us someone was dead just for them to reappear again. ESPECIALLY Mikail!!! It was a good episode that I will probably watch again b/c dh missed it.
