    Cool Did I tell you guys that...

    I got to see the Eagles in concert on Wednesday night???!!!! They were performing at the Wal-Mart Shareholders meeting this week, and my DH is a Wal-Mart employee so we got to go. (The world headquarters and shareholders meeting are in our local area).

    It was FANTASTIC! Just imagine how good you would expect them to be and it was at least that good. The only problem is that this is an area where we don't have a lot of concerts so some of the local people didn't seem to know how to act. For example, the people behind us were SHOUTING over the music to talk to each other for the first 40 minutes, and the guy beside me kept talking on his phone! I kept giving them "the look" and eventually, they shut up so we got a good 40 minutes of excellent music. They closed with Hotel California and Desperado. Wow. Just amazing.

    I am jealous here. I love the Eagles and Hotel California is my favorite song. Brings back a lot of good memories. I am glad you had a wonderful time, with the exception of the rude people. Did you have a camera on you by chance?

    Well, they asked for no flash photography, and even thought it seemed EVERYONE else was taking pictures, I didn't feel right about it. We were sitting so far away it wouldn't have made much difference. They did have several very large screens so that everyone could see the band up close, so that was nice. Oh my gosh, Hotel California was SO great! It gave me chills. I really respect their talent and amazing musicianship. Not very many people make such high quality music like that. Now everything is engineered in a studio. Oh well, thats a conversation for a different thread!

    I can't imagine why anyone would attempt to yack on their cell phone during a concert regardless of who was performing???
