anyone read grandmother's kitchen wisdom?
I have the set of four and have been slowly reading through them. I never heard anyone mention them before, but they're a pretty good read.

I guess I'll share a bit about the set. lol It's by Dr. Myles H. Bader. There are 4 in the set. (Home and holiday traditions, food secrets, kitchen basics and solutions, and natural remedies and nutrition.) They are filled with all sorts of really neat practical tips. It's a very comprehensive compilation of useful tips.

If you've read similar, can you please list some of them? I'd love to add more like this to my home library.

I picked up a copy of "Hints from Heloise" at a yard sale for $0.25. It's got lots of good info.

I think, if I'm not mistaken, I've seen him on QVC before. Might want to check out their website. If it's not him, then they do have books of this nature that they sell.

These books sounds very interesting. I may have to check into them myself. Sounds like something I would be interested in reading.
