My daughter is singing all of the High School Musical songs in the shower as I type this. We TIVO'd the movie on 2 tvs so if one gets deleted we still have the other.

My DD (who's 19) and I watched it today. (She recorded it last night while she was at work.) I thought it was cute and the dance routines and choreography seemed a little more complex in this movie. Overall, I like it probably as much as the first. I'm not a big HSM fan, but as a fan of musicals I think it's great that kids today have a new generation of musicals to enjoy.

The kids (dd 18, ds 16) and I liked the first one better. I am shocked that my ds actually watched it.

All of my kids, ages 4,9,11,and 13 watched it last night, and we of course taped it.. The kids all enjoyed it.. DD who is four dance around all the time. She had a ball... HSM 3 is more than likely... Why quit now when it is such a hot show.... I still like number one more.

My DD6 and DS4 watched it Friday night, and haven't stopped dancing and singing.

I thought the first one was better.. the theme about trying new things and accepting people was stronger, HSM2 had much more dance, which we also liked.
We liked the baseball song best.. how about eveyone else?

My dd liked the "Fabulous" song the best. But, she just loves Sharpay!

Mine were very excited too. They turned the living room into a "movie theater" and announced the movie when it came on.

I heard today that they have a #3 in the works and it will come out at the theatre.

I absolutely did not like this movie!!!! Maybe it is because I am 33, but it got on my nerves. I did watch it with DD 10, though. Surprisingly she has not said anything about wanting to watch it again.
