I'm actually just doing some Bible studies at home and catching up on some old magazines. I'll save the books for when it's too cold to go outside.

I bought the first three Janet Evanovich books of the Stephanie Plum series. I've never read any of them.

I just picked up 7 more books from the library to match the 28 I already have checked out. My books are non-fiction and mostly geeky books though. I am usually reading 4 or 5 books at once on diff subjects because it depends on my mood what I want to read so I need a book for each mood. I'm reading alot of cookbooks, parenting humor books, and books on the holocaust right now. And I am also re-reading one of my Uncle Johns Bathroom readers...I have very eclectic reading tastes, and I read the whole gamut of genres all at one time. LOL I really am a geek when it comes to books.

I'm finishing the book The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough this week (borrowed from my mom's library at home) and I've started The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald- we didn't read this one in school and I've heard it's good (I found this one at my dad's house going through his books, it might have belonged to my sister at one time).

baxjul- I love reading housekeeping books! especially old depression era ones or ones from victorian times! I have a huge list of them I've read somewhere around here. I find it fascinating what it took to run a house and feed a family back before dishwashers, microwaves, and McDonalds. It just amazes me...and makes me want to go hug, and kiss, and cuddle my dishwasher lol.

I'm reading through the Stephenie Meyer series of books. The first one was Twilight and the Second one is New Moon. It's about a human girl who falls in love with a vampire. I have Eclipse on reserve at the library. It's considered young adult fiction but the books are well written.

I'm reading the series for the first time too & have book one going now. What a fun quick read. I really like her (Stephanie Plum) and think we'd be good friends, lol. I'm definately going to continue to read the series.

Have a few other books I picked up at the library. I usually go with a list I researched but this was a spur of the moment thing so just picked a couple off the shelf & am hoping they are good ones.
renewed The Amazing Adventures Of Kavalier & Clay by Michael Chabon

I'm reading, "The American Frugal Housewife" by Mrs. Childs. A friend of mine went on a trip to New York and brought it back to me. I guess my friends know what I like!!! I laughed when she handed me the book.
