There are so many things that I enjoy about being this age. For one thing you don't have to worry about putting on tons of make up or dressing in the current styles! No one looks anyway! LOL! Seriously, it is nice to have some time of my own and more time for DH. Also, at this point in our lives, we really don't have to strive for as much. We really have everything we need and have finished the schooling we wanted, raised our children and so forth. It is tough though
when you reach the age that you realize you aren't going to make all your dreams come true. Some things just aren't going to happen. Lots of great things still will happen and there is a lot to look forward to however. I love being a grandparent and I have found grandparenting to be one of the most rewarding roles I have had in my life. I think getting older is something like the change of the seasons, each season is wonderful in its own way.
