Now, Cat, you should know that there are no hard and fast rules on FV!

I'm not sure what is going on here. I don't think it really works to assign one book and expect everyone to read it, as we have such diverse tastes. Many of us are posting what we are reading on the challenge thread, which was kind of a spin-off:

Oh thank you madhen. I just wasn't sure how the club was doing things since it looks like it has changed several times. Well now since that is cleared up I'm in. I love to read, anything. Heck I'll sit and read a cereal box if there isn't a book around. I have posted what I'm reading, I think. But just in case I'm currently reading Foxfire 3. This is a series of books from a '70's newpaper project. They took some highschool kids and researched, hands on, the way of life in the Appalachains. These are full of info on tanning hides, beekeepin, weaving, etc. It makes you long to go there and live with these people. Pretty much right up our frugal alleys.

I just finished Daring to Dream by Nora Roberts yesterday. Now on to the second book in the trilogy, Holding the Dream.

Since I listen to books and find it very entertaining....I'm adding classics to my reading. Listening to Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. very interesting story!

i just finished arrows of desire- Emma Blair. very good historical ww2 story about romance , hardship,
Now im reading heather grahams-ghost walk- I found it on shelf again and now have time to read it.

Today I will finish Anna Karenina. It's been a great book, lots of interesting story lines and insight on Russian culture...but long very very long!
