Dancing with the Stars finals...

Did anyone else think that Marie and Mel stunk during the freestyle? Mel's teacher was dancing more than her, and Marie's was just dumb. I thought Helio was great!

My sister and I thought these were the absolute worst finals of all the seasons. Helio was great but I voted for Mel and Maks because I do think over all she's better.

Maks evidently did hurt his back a little. I wish Jenny and Sabrina had stayed on, Dereck and Mark were great. I just adore Tony and Maks though. I really like how much Maks' personality is coming through more and would really like to see him and Mel win.

The only thing that gets me about Mel, is her attitude. All that eye rolling and screaming. And the Spice Girls were rude, I thought.

DW & I watch this show and are of the opinion that Marie will win as
part of a publicity stunt to regenerate the Osmond carrer's for her &
Donnie who both have suddenly become very visable once again.

Marie might also need the money now that she's once again a single mom.

Either way it's a put up job,but it's still fun entertaiment.

I agree about these being the worst finals ever.

I voted for Helio.

And I wish they would just go off of judge's ratings vs. viewer votes in future shows.

I wonder if the fact that Marie is still there and that Sabrina was voted off will bring about change to the show?

I hope so also! Sabrina really should have won! We were voting for her.

I haven't been able to watch the last few weeks, and fell asleep last night (the holiday season on night shift is wreaking havoc on my sleep).

But I'm cracking up that even this is a conspiracy!!

No not a conspiracy at all. It's simply business that's all.

What better way to jump start several career's at once that to package
it as ten weeks of intense entertaiment. All for cheesy mirror glass ball
trophy and no money!!

Kinda smart in my book.

Ok, now look at the way you worded this, this says CONSPIRACY, not "lets jump start our careers".

your "and I are of the opinion that Marie will win as part of a publicity stunt" states that you think it's rigged up, a conspiracy

The first season of Dancing with the Stars a large donation was made to the charity of the winners choice. Each "star" had a charity they were dancing for -- anyone else remember that?

I thought all the performances last night were awful. But DH reminded me we say that every season. For some reason they don't seem to do their best at the finals -- maybe they just crumble under the pressure. Who knows.
