I am sorry, but I am not sure what writer's strike you are talking about. I heard something about prime time going on strike...I haven't noticed though.

It really isn't bothering me at all since I don't watch the shows they write for. I don't watch things like Jay Leno, E.R., Grey's Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, or any other new shows. At night I mainly watch reality shows(Biggest Loser, Survivor, Amazing Race, Project Runway, etc....) or Nick at Night. My daytime shows are primarily the court shows, HGTV, Bravo, The Price is Right and Jeopardy.
I really had almost forgotten they were on strike.

We have a lot of series to watch on DVD so haven't been too bothered yet, but it's going to be a pain in the new year. We don't watch reality shows, or any of the slew of new game shows that will suddenly appear. When we run out of series & movies on DVD and the movie network on demand, I guess we'll have to actually turn the thing off.

I've been watching a lot of shows online. Most network websites (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox) have full episodes of all sorts of shows. It's a good way to re-watch favorite shows or watch shows you've never seen.
Two of my favorites are coming back soon, well, soon-ish anyway... - Jericho on Feb 12th and Lost on January 31st.
NancyI may not be where I need to be, but thank God I'm not where I used to be.

I'm getting frustrated. I'm tired of re-reun tv and want to see new episodes of my favorite programs.

Oh yes....I'm missing my Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy. Thanks Goodness I got to see Heroes season finale before the strike affected it and Lost is starting up soon and I'm sure they already have at least a few episodes in the bank to tide me over.
Can you tell that I watch alot of Crochet TV? (During these shows I sit and crochet

I know why I haven't noticed, I watch HGTV in the evenings or we watch a rented movie or the fiance will have a sports channel on. I guess I didn't and still don't watch a lot of regular programming. I like LOST and will watch that weekly, but that's my only series show I watch. I think LOST begins again in January or February.

I am tiried of the strike........ I think they should give the writers what they want. With out them there would not be any shows......... And since I don't like soaps, reality shows, game shows....... I like thinks like CSI's criminal minds.
FernYes I'm out of my mind. It's a dark and scary place in there.

~It does bother me that people go on strike. I almost always disagree with what they're striking about, generally more money. As a rule I say that if you don't like the terms of your employment, seek employment elsewhere. But in this case I feel that the networks are actually stealing from the writers. Whether it was in their contract or not shouldn't make a difference with intellectual property. I miss ER a little bit I guess. In the meantime I'm watching movies from Netflix, playing video games, reading and sewing. I really feel sorry for the thousands of other entertainment workers that are laid-off while this is going on. It's very unfair to them!~
