Finally..a new Grey's Anatomy ep tonite!

Granted, it will be the LAST new ep we'll see until the strike is settled and filming resumes...but WOOHOO!! I am sooooo peeved at Derek for telling Mer she's the love of his life, he wants a family with her...but maybe someone else will come along first. THEN he goes and kisses that Rose woman(I've heard her called "McThorn"..LOL!), who isn't anything special. Guess we as the "audience" can see how Mer is growing and changing, but Derek can't.
I am soooo addicted to this show, and Patrick Dempsey

, well he's just YUMMY, especially when he's holding his twin babies and talking about how much he loves his wife.
Anyone joining me in front of the tube tonite

(SPOILER ALERT!!)

Man, that was a good one!! Emmy nomination for Chandra Wilson, huh??!! I'm not even as mad at Derek as I was, cuz I can see how he is getting frustrated with Mer's backing away(though she has come soooo far), and he's realizing that maybe other women are out there who don't come with baggage that will take YEARS to unload. Bailey's baby...oh my, what a cutie-patootie! I loved it when she brought the faith healer in(not that I believe in chakras and energy), but it was interesting to see how the medical community rolled their eyes at the healer, until it was one of their own that was in trouble..then you leave no stone unturned.
I love how the writers work a "theme" in every week...this week it was the "oops, I thought you already knew that" thing. I felt awful for Callie when Mrs. O'Malley was showing her the baby clothes...when having a baby was so important for Callie.
Once the show finally comes back, we'll be waiting for Mer/Der/Rose, Hahn and McSteamy(I see him more with Callie though), Mer and Lexi, and all of our friends. Man....I get myself all involved in a fictional story about people who aren't even REAL

Oh, I cried and cried about the baby...Chandra is DEFINITELY getting an Emmy for that episode. It reminded me of Sally Field in Steel Magnolias at her daughters gravesite. Heart-wrenching.

Meridith drives me freaking insane. Seriously...go to therapy, get over your issues, and pull your a$$ together.

I like that McSteamy is after someone who isn't traditionally "hot." I know his deal is that he wants what he can't have, but still...it's nice to see this woman with the upper hand.

And poor Karev...he tries so hard to be a bad a$$, but he's a good guy at heart.

I like her too...I enjoy seeing him cut off at the knees, and probably experiencing his first rejection(and meeting a woman who doesn't sleep with him just because he's pretty...what is WRONG with these nurses??!!). I didn't like his character until this season...he was really just a wooden "pretty boy", but this year I'm getting a kick out of the "old buddy" relationship with him and Derek. I saw Brooke Smith in an off-Broadway play in July of '06, and that woman is an AMAZON!! Yeesh, is she tall! The play was one man visiting 4 women from his past, and she had to wear ballet flats just to be with Eric McCormack.
McDreamy, while I really do see and understand his frustration...and he's at the "settling down" age and stage, there is still a real "McJerk" hidden in there. He was with Meredith and didn't tell her he was married, chose Addison over her, wanted Mer back after she met Finn and was starting something there, and now he's kissing McThorny. He hasn't exactly done much to earn her trust besides always be willing to head to the on-call room.

Don't get me wrong I still love the show, but I'd like to smack both Meredith AND Derick, dang it she needs therapy and he needs to GET MAD or get over her. I like sensitive men but he's taken it to far!

And Izzy needs a good wack in the head, she's just annoying the SNOT out of me these days.

My favorite characters are Callie and Bailey, she's been one of my favorites from the VERY beginning.

The baby was adorable and yes the faith healing VERY interesting, but I have a pretty strong belief in many aspects of it, have seen amazing things from those of TRUE faith.

Will be waiting anxiously for new episodes, but won't be to upset if someone smacks Izzy a GOOD ONE.

Actually, the Izzy thing REALLY annoyed me on the episode with the deer. Sorry, but NOT POSSIBLE, NOT REALISTIC and WAY TO SAPPY. And then they just led the deer away in a halter, sigh, urgh.
