    Thumbs up Books I got in today

    for Libary:
    Betty crocker 350 recpies for slow cooker
    Companys coming slow cooker
    Miserly Meals by Jonni McCoy
    Yankee magazine's book-make it last- Earl Proulix
    Fix it & Forget it Lightly Phyllis Pellman Good
    The Frugal Woodworker Rick Lifting

    The Fix it book looks like lots of great recepies and so far the Yankee's book with lots of ideas - says over 1000 ways to extend the life of evrything you own. from cleaning to aplliances.

    I want to hear what you think of Miserly Moms. I can't find it here and it is on my list to buy. I can't find it in the thrift stores either. I think I am going to have to resort to buying it off ebay and I don't want to spend the money if I don't have to.

    You can also try half.com, amazon and even Barnes and nobles has used books. (I just ordered The One Armed cook through here).

    So far I think Miserly meals is pretty good and stright simple without too many things you'ss have to but out of the way. plus she tells what you could use to replace something. i think You's like it.

    thanks Katybird. Great recepies on the light cook book and so diverse with some of the same ingriedents. Love that idea.


    Kay with all the writing i wished I owned it . theirs so much info toi write I know i could use in the future and my printer is low on color. lol
