Just wondering

Two young actors have died in the last week and I was just wondering how many noticed. Of course everyone knows about Heath Leger, but does anyone know about Brad Renfro? He died on January 15th and they haven't given a cause of death as of yet. However they all say he had a troubled life, including drugs. Granted, he wasn't a mega movie star like Heath Leger, but still, he was young (25) and had been in several movies. I also read he had a small child that lives in Japan with the mother. I think it's sad that either of them died.

Actually I was very sad to see of Brad Renfro's passing also. I LOVED the movie The Client and watched it several times because of him. He reminded me SO MUCH of a young version of my husband, even had MIL watch it

I hadn't followed his career from there so was really shocked when his death was announced.

Sometimes life is to much, to sudden, all in their face and it seems they just can't handle/control things.

Both are such sad and needless losses, they could have done so much more with their lives.

Makes you sit back and think and reflect about things doesn't it?

Yes, I had read about his passing. I did love his work in the Client but didn't personally know of any other work he had done.

I wish more of young hollywood would ask for help when they need it. A lot of lives could have been lived into old age.

Ooh, no. I didn't know that he had passed... I am showing my age here, BUT I used to have a major crush on him when I was younger. We were both born in 1982. I liked The Client and he was also in Huck and Finn, Apt Pupil and Sleepers that I can think of right now. So sad.

Guess I just had to say something about Brad Renfro because I heard it only one time on the news and then they seemed to forget him.

I think in the big picture this is not important. There are alot of young people who die everyday who dont get written about. I think its sad that they lost their lives for their families

You're right, but these young actors are endeared in the hearts of the fans. Don't get me wrong. It doesn't make them any more special, just more well known. I don't think I would want to be in the business.
I think that any time a young person dies from a drug OD it is sad. The young man that used to live in our house before we bought it OD'd. That was about 6 years ago. Sad.
